8 Replies to “GOLGI BODIES/ GOLGI COMPLEX / GOLGI APPARATUS”
Ans 1 – Golgi body was first discovered by Camillo Golgi.
Ans 2-cisternae is made up of a stack of membrane bounded bodies and It is located in the cytoplasm next to the Endoplasmic reticulum near the nucleus.
Ans 3-the main functions of the Golgi bodies are-
1.)Golgi apparatus is responsible for transporting, modifying, and packaging proteins and lipids into vesicles for delivery to targeted destinations.
2.)It plays a major roles in the production of lysosomes.
3.)It is involved in the synthesis and secretion of hormones and enzymes.
Ans 4-Lysosomes
Read your Ans -2 carefully… There is something wrong ….
